In December I once more made a skinny, but horizontally and starting from the bottom.
Week 1: I had the idea with the Christmas tree that I want to fill with various photos (according to the week's motto). The first one is "Seeing", so for me that is Christmas lights and ornaments. Not really worked out in great detail, but that will come.
Week 2: The motto is "Taste/Smell", so for me that's food and drink. Sine the transition between the images wasn't great I decided to add a white divider. The whole thing looked pretty bare, so I added a wobbly line around the tree. Somehow I miss the overall theme of Nostalgia. Once the four skinnies are done I need to work on that,
Week 3: The motto is "Touch". I immediately thought of snow and soft fur. The deer on its own didn't really fit with all the red underneath, so I gave it a bow.
Week 4, the final week was "Sound - Christmas songs for me...For my favourite Christmas song Dawn Inskip even had a word strip in her set. You just have to imagine Michael Bublé instead of Mariah Carey's screaming.
To bring the photos together a little more I used a paper from Lynn Grieveson as an overlay. Nostalgia still looks different than this, but I am very happy with my four week layout.
