Art Journaling: Monthly Muse Dezember Überblick

Im Dezember dachte ich, ich mache mal wieder ein Skinny Layout im Querformat und fange diesmal unten an.

In December I once more made a skinny, but horizontally and starting from the bottom.

Woche 1: Mir kam die Idee mit dem Weihnachtsbaum, den ich mit verschiedenen Fotos füllen will (immer nach dem Motto der Woche). Das erste Motto ist "Seeing", also für mich sind das Weihnachtslichter. So ganz ausgereift ist das noch nicht, aber das findet sich schon noch.

Week 1: I had the idea with the Christmas tree that I want to fill with various photos (according to the week's motto). The first one is "Seeing", so for me that is Christmas lights and ornaments. Not really worked out in great detail, but that will come.

Layout: Good day sunshine

Hier bin ich einmal weg vom ewigen neutralen Hintergrund und habe richtig zugeschlagen. Das Thema hat mich einfach an Sonnenstrahlen denken lassen (nicht, daß ich hier besonders sonnig gucken würde, aber es ist ja früh am Morgen). Da kam die Template von Scrapping with Liz gerade richtig...

Der Rest des Layouts ist mit dem neuen BYOC Kit Good morning sunshine von Pink Reptile Designs gemacht. Bei den Farben MUß man einfach gute Laune bekommen!

For once I have gone astray and used a colorful background instead of the usual neutral one. The topic had me thinking of sun rays (even though I am not looking as if I was in a particularly sunny mood, but it is still early in the morning). The template from Scrapping with Liz came in handy here...

All the other stuff came from the new BYOC kit from Pink Reptile Designs Good morning sunshine. Those colours just HAVE to put you in a good mood.

DYD 2017 - Album Cover

Der Dezember ist in aller Munde. Viele planen, bereiten vor und überlegen, was für ein Album sie dieses Jahr machen wollen. Ich habe meine Pläne - wie üblich - wieder einmal völlig über den Haufen geschmissen. Erst wollte ich ein 6x8 Album machen und hatte schon das Cover fertig:

Layout: Create goodness

Für die Blog Challenge von Scrapping with Liz habe ich dieses Layout über die künstlerischen Ergebnisse meines Sohnes gemacht. Die Templates von Liz sind nicht so überladen mit Elementen und Clustern, und diese hier war besonders einfach gehalten. Ich wollte aber dennoch einen etwas chaotischen Eindruck hinterlassen, ich denke, das ist mir auch gelungen, :-).

For the blog challenge from Scrapping with Liz I made this page about the art results of my son. Liz' templates are not as cluttered with elements and clusters as many others and this one was particularly clean. Still I wanted to create something slightly chaotic, I think I succeeded, :-).
