MOC 5: Photography Challenge (ohne Menschen)

Für die Challenge an Tag 5 sollten wir ein Foto ohne Menschen verwenden. Nichts einfacher als das! Dieser Drache hatte es mir schon angetan, als ich ihn zum ersten Mal gesehen habe, und ich glaube, ich könnte noch zehn Layouts mit dem Foto machen.

For the challenge on day 5 we were supposed to use a people-less photo. Well, that's easy! I loved that dragon at first sight and I could probably make another ten pages with the picture.

MOC 4: Photography Challenge (Perspektive)

MOC Tag 4: Die Challenge - ein Foto aus einer ungewöhnlichen Perspektive, Vogelblick, von unten usw...
Da traf es sich gut, daß ich im Dezember dieses Foto gemacht hatte. Eigentlich wollte ich ja kein Weihnachtslayout mehr machen - ich kann echt keine Weihnachtsprodukte mehr sehen -, aber hier machte ich dann eine Ausnahme. Die Template ist von Fiddle Dee Dee, von der ich ausnahmsweise mal nicht alle Clusterelemente entfernt habe. Da das Foto ja ziemlich farbintensiv ist, hielt ich mich mit anderen Farben dezent zurück.

MOC Day4: The challenge - a photo from an unusual perspective, bird's eye, worm's eye etc. 
As it happened I took this photo in December and it was perfectly suitable. In fact I didn't plan to make any more Christmas pages - I really have enough of Christmas products -, but here I made an exception. The template is from Fiddle Dee Dee, and for once I left quite a few cluster elements. Vecause the photo is quite colour intensive I held back on all other colours.

12 Days of Art Journaling

Schon 2016 gab es die 12 Days of Art Journaling bei The Lilypad, die ich begeistert mitmachte. Dieses Jahr war es wieder soweit und zwölf Tage bedeutet für mich zwölf ATCs.

Basierend auf den twelve days of Christmas kann man immer etwas mit dem tatsächlichen Songtext machen, oder aber mit einer vorgegebenen Alternative.

Already last year I joined the 12 days of art journaling at The Lilypad. This year it happened again and that means for me 12 ATCS.

Tag 1: On the 1st day of Christmas some true friends brought to you, a cup of cocoa and marshmallows too!!

Das hier ist meine ATC dazu, und sie schaffte es gleich zu einem GSO, was mich sehr überraschte, denn ich habe die Karte schnell hingepfeffert zwischen zwei DYD Layouts und einer Episode Vikings.

This is my ATC and it made GSO that really surprised me. It took me all of 15 minutes to throw it together between two DYD pages and a Vikings episode.

Art Journaling: Monthly Muse Dezember Überblick

Im Dezember dachte ich, ich mache mal wieder ein Skinny Layout im Querformat und fange diesmal unten an.

In December I once more made a skinny, but horizontally and starting from the bottom.

Woche 1: Mir kam die Idee mit dem Weihnachtsbaum, den ich mit verschiedenen Fotos füllen will (immer nach dem Motto der Woche). Das erste Motto ist "Seeing", also für mich sind das Weihnachtslichter. So ganz ausgereift ist das noch nicht, aber das findet sich schon noch.

Week 1: I had the idea with the Christmas tree that I want to fill with various photos (according to the week's motto). The first one is "Seeing", so for me that is Christmas lights and ornaments. Not really worked out in great detail, but that will come.

Art Journaling: Frühling - Monthly Muse Oktober Woche 4

Für die letzte Woche der Oktober Monthly Muse blieb noch der Frühling übrig. Die Farbpalette, die ich mir aussuchte war richtig frühlingshaft - oder auch sommerlich, deshalb fand ich genügend Produkte in Just Jaimees Sommer Storyteller Kits, nämlich vom Juli 2017 und dem Kit Hadley, das, glaube ich, auch aus einem Sommermonat ist. Der Rest ist aus anderen JJ Kits, außer dem Doodle, der von Dawn Inskip stammt.

For the last week of the October monthly muse the season left was spring. I chose a very spring-y or summer-y colour palette and found enough material in Just Jaimees summer storyteller kits, from July 2017 and Hadley which is, I believe also from a summer month a couple of years back. The rest is from other JJ kits, except for the doodle which comes from Dawn Inskip.

Art Journaling: Monthly Muse Oktober Woche 3 - Summer at the Lake

Für die Monthly Muse in der dritten Woche war der Sommer dran. Ich glaube meine Monthly Muse war noch nie so inkonsistent wie im Oktober. Meine bisherigen drei Layouts haben echt überhaupt nichts gemeinsam.

For the third week of the Monthly Muse it was summer's turn. I don't think my monthly muse pages were ever that inconsistent before, they really have nothing in common this months.

Layout: Make every moment count

Bei dieser Challenge sollten wir ein schwarz-weiß Layout kreieren mit nur einem Farbtupfer. Nicht gerade meine Stärke!

Es hat Spass gemacht, die ganzen Papiere und Elemente in Grautönen zusammenzusuchen, denn von Desaturieren von Elementen halte ich nicht viel. Mit hat natürlich (wieder einmal) mein Lieblingskit "It's not just black and white" von Mirjam weitergeholfen, über dieses Kit kann ich nicht genug Gutes sagen. Hier siehst du das Bundle davon.

With this challenge we were supposed to create a page in black and white with only one spot of colour. Not my strength, I like it colourful.

Anyway, it was fun to gather all the black and white materials. It would never occur to me to desaturate, I'd rather hunt for the right product. My favourite kit "It's not just black and white" from Mirjam helped (once more). I can't say enough good things about this kit. You can find the bundle here.

Eine kleine Pause im St. James's Park, zu der es nichts weiter zu sagen gibt. Deshalb habe ich mich auch auf den Titel und ein paar Wordstrips beschränkt.

Art Journaling: Wer A sagt

Für einen Slow Scrap habe ich dieses Layout gemacht. Man sollte drei Alphas verwenden, nicht gerade meine Lieblingsaufgabe, aber mit dem A, B und C habe ich sie unauffällig gelöst.

Natürlich mußte ich, eben um eine Gelegenheit für das C zu bekommen, das Sprichwort (das war eine weitere Bedingung für das Layout) etwas abändern, aber zumindest nicht sinnentstellend.

Art Journaling: When the snows fall - Monthly Muse Juli Woche 3

In der dritten Woche der Juli Monthly Muse ging es um Freundschaft. Nachdem ja Game of Thrones wieder angefangen hatte, der Winter nun eingezogen ist, und außerdem ja überall Christmas in July gefeiert wurde, habe ich nicht nur ein Zitat von George R.R. Martin verwendet, sondern auch noch viele Winterprodukte benutzt.

Layout: Up Close

The Lilypad hat ab und zu wöchentliche Themenbeleuchtungen (ich nenne es jetzt mal so), in denen täglich ein bestimmtes Thema von irgendeiner Seite betrachtet wird. Ich mache da nur mit, wenn mir das Thema gefällt, so zum Beispiel als es um das Extrahieren ging (siehe mein Layout dazu hier) oder eben jetzt beim Thema Close up.
