Art Journaling: Monthly Muse Dezember Überblick

Im Dezember dachte ich, ich mache mal wieder ein Skinny Layout im Querformat und fange diesmal unten an.

In December I once more made a skinny, but horizontally and starting from the bottom.

Woche 1: Mir kam die Idee mit dem Weihnachtsbaum, den ich mit verschiedenen Fotos füllen will (immer nach dem Motto der Woche). Das erste Motto ist "Seeing", also für mich sind das Weihnachtslichter. So ganz ausgereift ist das noch nicht, aber das findet sich schon noch.

Week 1: I had the idea with the Christmas tree that I want to fill with various photos (according to the week's motto). The first one is "Seeing", so for me that is Christmas lights and ornaments. Not really worked out in great detail, but that will come.

Art Journaling: Monthly Muse November Woche 1

Die Monthly Muse im November war die erste, die der ich nur ein Layout habe und nicht alle vier Wochen durchgehalten habe. das Thema Dankbarkeit kann man auch überstrapazieren, ganz ehrlich!

Für die erste Woche habe ich Kurt Vonnegut bemüht, aus dessen Schlachthof 5 ich dieses wunderbare Zitat gefunden habe. Das Buch habe ich vor vielen Jahren gelesen und wüsste nichts mehr daraus. Aber Dank Goodreads kann man heutzutage ja so belesen wirken, wie man will.

The monthly muse in November was the first muse for which I only made one page and didn't go through with the whole month. In my opinion the topic gratefulness is a little bit used too much and I am not one to reflect and scrap about things I am grateful for.

For the first week I used a quote from Kurt Vonnegut's Slaughterhouse 5 which was just perfect. I have read the book many years ago and wouldn't know a thing about it anymore, but thanks to Goodreads nowadays everybody can pretend to be as well-read as they want.

Layout: Ghost?

Für die Scraplift Challenge habe ich dieses Papierlayout geliftet. Das war gar nicht mal so einfach mit dem dünnen Papier unter dem Foto. Aber mit Hilfe dieser sog. Petals von Sara Gleason ging es dann doch ganz gut.
